Two weeks ago in Finland started Jamie Oliver's school food series. First episode was pretty shock. In UK students eat fast food in schools and they don't even know what is real home food.. And the schools budget for food is in euros 50 cents per student. In Finland the budget is about 1,60 euros per student.
The school where Jamie worked had 1000 students, so total daily budget for food is ~500 euros, while in Finland is about 300 students in one school, so daily budget is also ~500 euros as in UK. But now wee see the difference. In Finland is smaller schools than in UK, but still we spent as much money for the food as in UK.
Luckily Jamie got with his "Feed me better" -campaign more money to school food..
Hmm... This is my third post in here and second considering food.. xD
